Told you so.

When I feel stressed I just whisper, "Moroni" or "Kolob." Then I feel better.
No offense intended to any real angels named "Moroni."

The E.A. Folk quote originated during the Reed Smoot trials long after Brigham Young died.
Folk was a Baptist.

This quote is from the NY Times 11/9/1911:
"It is possible that the Prophet of Utah never uttered the words attributed to him and quoted above."
To continue to quote something that was never uttered as something true is to bear false witness. Do not be guilty of false witness.

Sorry, I no longer respond to anonymous combox posters. I don't mind correcting errors I have passed on, but if you lack the courage to sign your real name, at least pick a consistent fake one.

Patrick,
1st: you did respond to my anonymous comment
2nd: not sure what your fear is, but, in order for anyone to stop bearing false witness I will use my www.godtube.com user id in this comment.
Let's leave the lies to journalists, the media, and politicians.
Stand on the higher ground. The more truth that is published, the more peace we can find.
