Heavens to Betsy! They won't do that to the big groups of unattended pre-teens in our theaters, much less pick on a kid in a wheelchair.
It makes me think of when the Simpsons were at one of the Ernest movies at the same time as Sideshow Bob ... he and Homer kept driving each other crazy with their loud guffaws.
I think the mother should have said something about the Americans with Disabilities Act. Who knows if it is really relevant but it might have scared the theatre manager.
Or if her kid was a lesbian activist at school who campaigned against the Republican Club. Throw in being a skin color minority and you've got yourself a scared maanger.
