Not all bishops are created equal. I say, let's pray for the less equal, and actively affirm the more equal when they stand up for the faith.
To whit, Bishop of Peterborough, Ontario, Nicola De Angelis deserves credit for publically correcting (and then some) a wayward liberal priest who saw the last summer's attempted ordination of some elderly feminists on a boat in the St. Lawrence River as "the beginning of a new and awesome change in the life of the church."
Careful what you wish for, Reverend.

Bravo to this bishop who showed some backbone. Unfortunately, the priest is correct about the Church continuing to change. Most churches I go to are dominated by women and reflect their feminine sensibilities. It's sad to see the continued feminization of the Church. It's no wonder that islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.

Tha's why I think His Excellency's ofice should be flooed with Thank You emails, calls and faxes. These men of God need to know that gutsy decisions are so appreciated by the faithful.
